Barber/Cosmetologist

Exciting careers are open to the licenses, experienced Barber/Cosmetologist. In addition to salon ownership, salon management, and specialization of a service, one can choose from positions in sales, advertising, research, education, and makeup artistry. The possibilities are unlimited ans so is the income potential. The Barber/Cosmetologist program is a three-semester Diploma program consisting of 1,800 hours of instruction. Students attend classes Monday through Friday as scheduled, and may attend full or part-time. Students receive instruction in Barber/Cosmetologist skills such as hair designing, haircutting, hair cutting, permanent waving, and manicuring. Classes in makeup artistry, sculptured nails, color analysis, and salon management are also included.
